Davey was definitely there in spirit tonight. Mickey and Peter were getting set up for Daydream Believer and the power victors kept falling out of Peter's electric piano. :)

(The last half hour was the best - they dove VERY deep into their catalogue and pulled out songs most of us had never heard. People were actually leaving.)

The concert was FANTASTIC!!! Many of the "lesser known" songs were done, off the albums! It was nice to finally see Mike for the first time - (and his kids)!!! I've been a lifelong fan (48 years)!!! You guys all sounded and looked wonderful!!! It's "Hard To Believe" two of you are in your 70's!!! On a personal note, I did keenly feel the loss of Davy though...but I'm pleased with the the way he was honored, both at the concert (with "Daddy's Song" & "Daydream Believer") and with the page in the 2014 Monkee Tour Book! And "Thanks" Micky for pointing at me during "I'm A Believer" - (I was in the 3rd row, middle, with the Davy T-shirt, and Davy/Monkee buttons), remember?!!! And Yes, I agree with the above - they belong in the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame - absolutely!!! The moments on the screen behind them were priceless - some of the very "best" moments from the TV Show, their movie "HEAD", 331/3 1969 TV Special, Screen Tests, and some of their funniest bits!!! Wonderful, wonderful show!!! It couldn't have been any better - except if Davy had been there!!! There was a wonderful and warm "family" aspect to it. You could tell that they were enjoying themselves, and enjoying being with their fans!!! I seriously love you guys always!!!

Great concert! They must have taken lessons because they played great! There was a string of about three songs where it was just them playing and they did very well. Vocal and harmonies any group would have been proud of especially live. So glad we decided to go. Amazing songs. Never realized so many hits came from THEIR own work. They may have started off as a non group but these guys belong in the Hall! I'd see them again tonight! Rocksino is a great place for concerts. That's a sure bet!

So, i just saw The Monkees in concert for the first time. So what did i think about it? I hated it. it was horrible. Could've spent my money on watching fish swim and getting better enjoyment out of that. As Im sure you are all aware, I am joking. It was my new greatest moment of my life. I'm not overstating it. it was absolutely fantastic. I have no complaint with the concert itself or the fact they didn't meet anyone after the show was over. (Even tho i stayed an hour and a half after the concert. Still not mad.) They also had a few good surprises thrown into the mix. Esp the way they reworked songs like The Kind Of Girl I Could Love. Made it sound like a war dance number. They even sang every song from the soundtrack to Head. (Which isn't really hard since there's only 6 songs on it.) Davy was represented the whole night. Every video they played had Davy in it. And they even played the entire performance of Daddy's Song. They DID use the lesser soundtrack version of the song and not the more superior movie version. But once again no complaints. It was well done and gave Davy a solo performance. All the guys were in top notch shape. Mickey danced the whole night. He did a performance of Goin' Down that rivaled the recording. Peter now talks and sings in a higher register. But he still can sing his songs. Was really surprised he sung Can You Dig It. I know he wrote it but Mickey sang it on the album. He did a good job with it tho. And Mike? What can you say about Papa Nez? The man knows his stuff and does it well. Like i said, the concert was awesome. Well put together. I enjoyed myself tremendously. Extra bonus was the fact that everyone was nice. I met several Monkees fans and we had a great time talking about the group. (And I was really enjoying telling some fans things they didn't know about. And learning a few things as well. Yes. Head was released as Rated R on it's first theatrical release.) I have never been to a concert like that before. Where everyone was there to have a good time and to enjoy everything. The night ended with me and a couple of other fans hanging around the buses and quoting lines from Mel Brooks movies. Overall score: 5000% Awesome!

Really missed, Davey. They mostly sang the songs they wrote and only sang maybe two of Davey's. If you recall, most of the songs they wrote were never hits. But, they had a continuous video running on the jumbo screens of their TV show antics and that was fun. Wished they would have given a little bit more of themselves to the audience and talk to the crowd. It was good to see them, though, they still have their voices!

Best show since I saw Paul McCartney 3 years ago, great set list and they sound just like they did back in the 60s, so much energy and spirit. Great experience for me and my lady, even the mercy was a decent price!

I was so happy with the setlist. A ton of songs I'd never heard live, since Mike was here this time. There wasn't a lot of banter or talking to the audience, but I didn't really come for that. They had tons of energy (especially Peter!!) and were our perfect wonderful Monkees. I've loved them since I was 10 (so, 19 years) and I've seen Davy 4x and Micky 5x now (Peter 2x, Mike once). I was especially happy to hear Randy Scouse Git, my favorite Micky song, for the first time live. This was so fun!

Great concert. I'd seen them 3x before and this was the best show yet. Missed Davy but Mike was fantastic. They still sound good and look like they're still having fun.

Everything I was hoping for. It was an honor to be three rows back from the idols of this 37 yr old fan. I don't think I could love them any more!!! Wish it were a bigger crowd that got up that got up and danced. So many times I didn't want to stay seated!!!! A lifetime of thank yous and admiration to Mike, Mickey and Peter. A night I will never forget.
