Billy Joel played a long set with his band -- over two hours -- then came out alone to sit at the piano and play another half-hour. And yes, he took requests (and joked with the audience). A great show!

He said "This is it..." meaning no more small venues with a couple hundred people like the Unicorn. It was just him and a piano. And he saracastically commented on a reviewer that was down on Root Beer Rag...saying it was filler....

This is the fourth time I have seen Billy Joel (without Elton John) and I would see him forty more in a heartbeat. His voice is still strong and piano skills have not lost a thing!
