Yours to change, whenever

Your choice

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, visitors who are not signed in are asked by Google’s consent message instead of our banner. It is certified under the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework, names every advertising partner, and lets you agree or refuse purpose by purpose. Members are asked by our banner wherever they are, because members see no adverts.

The accommodation map on concert, venue and festival pages is Stay22’s own page, shown in a frame. It loads by itself once you allow advertising in our banner, and otherwise only when you press “Show places to stay”. Google’s consent message does not cover it, so where that message asked you, the map waits for the button. What it stores is listed under Advertising below.

Necessary

6

These make the site usable at all - moving between pages, staying signed in, remembering what you answered in the cookie banner. The site cannot work without them, so they are not optional.

Necessary cookies
Name Provider Purpose Expiry Type
lm_consent loudmemories.com Remembers what you answered in the cookie banner, so you are not asked again on every page. Holds two yes/no values and the date you answered. 6 months HTTP Cookie
FCCDCF loudmemories.com Google's consent message, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Holds what you answered there, as the IAB TCF consent string the advertising partners read. 13 months HTTP Cookie
PHPSESSID loudmemories.com Keeps your session together from one page to the next. Session HTTP Cookie
myclAuth loudmemories.com Keeps you signed in between visits. Set when you tick “keep me logged in”, and whenever you sign in with a social account. Holds a random code that matches one sign-in on our side - never your email address or your password. Removed when you sign out. 1 year HTTP Cookie
_GRECAPTCHA google.com Google reCAPTCHA, only on the sign-up form: set once you start filling it in, to tell a person from an automated sign-up. Nothing on any other page loads it. 6 months HTTP Cookie
lmStub loudmemories.com Only if you fill in the ticket stub on the front page before you have an account: holds the act, year, score and note you typed, so the sign-up form can save them to your journal. Removed when you sign up or empty the stub, and it never leaves your browser until then. Until you sign up HTML Local Storage

Preferences

These remember how you like the site to behave. Losing them costs you nothing but the setting.

Analytics

5

These count what gets read. They are off until you turn them on in the banner or in Google’s consent message, and turning them off deletes the Google Analytics cookies at once. FCNEC is managed by Google’s message itself.

Analytics cookies
Name Provider Purpose Expiry Type
_ga loudmemories.com Google Analytics. Tells one browser apart from another so a return visit is not counted as a new person. 2 years HTTP Cookie
_ga_<id> loudmemories.com Google Analytics. Keeps the state of the current visit - when it started, how far into it you are. 2 years HTTP Cookie
_gid loudmemories.com Google Analytics. The same job as _ga, over a single day. 1 day HTTP Cookie
FCNEC loudmemories.com Google's consent message, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Lets Google measure how its message is used - shown, closed, answered. What you answered is kept in FCCDCF, not here. 1 year HTTP Cookie
collect google-analytics.com Not a cookie: the request that carries each page view to Google Analytics, with the _ga identifiers above. Not stored Request

Advertising

Google sets these to measure and target advertising across websites, and may combine what it learns here with what it already knows about you. They are off until you turn them on. Turning them off deletes the ones on loudmemories.com at once; those on doubleclick.net and in your browser’s storage can only be cleared in your browser. Members see no adverts, so Google’s are not loaded while you are signed in. The last three are Stay22’s, set inside its accommodation map whenever the map loads: by itself once you allow advertising in our banner, or when you press “Show places to stay”. They can only be cleared in your browser.
