Florida Jam 1975 festival in Tampa, US on Sat, 05 Jul 1975
92 degrees, folks were being hauled out. We had a big cooler of ice and limes we passed out. Everyone was sitting or lying down.
Johnny Winter was second to last. First song got the crowd on their feet and tapping. Second dancing, and hooting and hollering after that. Best Winter I've seen out of 25 concerts. A lot left before ZZ to have Winter in our heads. The band told us later they loved being second last; impossible to follow!
I was there, it was awesome, and look at that ticket price... We had a large American Flag, to mark our location... Does anyone remember that? ????????????????????????✌????✌????✌????
I was there. Tampa State Fairgrounds. Tickets were $10.
ZZ Top, Johnny Winter, Marshall Tucker, Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Atlanta Rhythm Section, Pure Prairie League, War & Kiss. (Kiss was pretty unknown outside NYC at that time) It was a southern rock era concert but War and Kiss were there.
Very hot temp wise. It was announced that crowd was around 45,000 and they kept announcing what the bad drugs looked like that were being sold there.
Best concert I ever saw out of many.

Western Springs Stadium in Auckland, New Zealand on Sat, 14 Mar 1987
I was 14, it was my first concert. The police matched the Black Power gang away from the venue to avoid a confrontation with mongrel mob members who had already arrived. 80,000 people and ZZ Top were awesome and at the peak of their powers. Jimmy Barnes rocked the pre-show and brought on special guest Michael Hitchrnce to do Good Times which was a hit at the time. Knightshade was the first act . Amazing memories, I just picked up an original concert promo poster which I have in the wall. ZZ Too broke the legal decibel level and were banned from performing future concerts at Western Springs.
New Bingley Hall in Stafford, UK on Sat, 18 Oct 1986
I was there, as a 6th Former from Ashton-under-Lyne. It was one of my first gigs and it felt like we were in a cattle shed. ZZ Top were on for about 50 minutes and were decent, but it was a short-lived evening. There was a giant illuminated Egyptian death mask at the back of the stage. The musicians were trying a few things before they went to Wembley Arena for the real gig.
Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre at SDSU in San Diego, US on Wed, 28 Aug 2019

KönigsPalast Krefeld in Krefeld, Germany on Sat, 27 Jun 2015
Muziek goed maar 62 euro veel te veel geld voor 1 uurtje
Zitadelle Spandau in Berlin, Germany on Thu, 02 Jul 2015
concert was way to short for 55 Euros...
The support band seemed to be more interested in entertaining the audience than ZZ Top
ZENITH PARIS - LA VILLETTE in Paris, France on Fri, 26 Jun 2015
