Brighton Dome data and concert informations

A slick , smart and thoroughly enjoyable experience which gave the feeling of being in a far mor intimate setting than we were. We came away uplifted having been entertained by one of pops legends. Thank you Mr Ferry and his hugely talented team

Great to finally see the band; a bit cacophonous at times with 3 drummers but Mel Collins kept it human, and they did great service to the old material.

They are not the Best Live Band in the World for nothing....loved it, would have liked it a bit longer though ;-)

What a letdown! Musicians were fantastic but Dr John dragged them down with samey tunes and didn't engage the audience. He couldn't even be bothered to look at us when he finally introduced his backing band. At least the support band Mountain Firework Company had life in them. Time to retire Dr John!

Fantastic. Really pushing the envelope for life performance.

From the first bars of the first song, Imelda May had the audience on their feet and rocking, despite the last minute technical hitch that prevented the Dome from clearing away the seats in the stalls. After the story of her granny growing up in Brighton they were eating out of her hand. A great night of fierce, edgy rockabilly from a wonderfully wild woman.
