Bexley North Hotel in Sydney, Australia on Mon, 11 Aug 1980
17 Seconds was not long out so to hear the Cure play, what to me are their two best albums, was fantastic. My friends and I were centre stage, right at the front, under Robert Smith's nose. We had already seen them at Bondi but for some reason the Bexley North gig stands out. My girlfriend at the time may have dropped me that night for my mate, so that may have had something to do with it. My biggest regret was not getting to the Opera House decades later to see them play with members of the original album lineups. There later stuff is just as good which is testament to their talent and Smith's songwriting.

Fantastic concert, great live band. It was mesmerizing seeing them live on stage. What a great experience!!
Hordern Pavilion in Sydney, Australia on Fri, 12 Oct 1984
A warm evening in Sydney.
We travelled from the Blue Mountains to see them.
The gig was OK but the sound mixing wasn't great & they didn't sound as good as they really are.

visuellement impressionnant. Les vieilles tounes: un wow. Vraiment!

Great concert. Came with quite a few supporters from London, who were all wearing black. But then I had always worn all black back in the sixties, so was weird.
The Chelsea in Las Vegas, US on Thu, 19 May 2016
Incredible! With just 3,000 in the audience it was perfect! I was third row from the stage and made eye contact with Robert several times. He is timeless. He smiled and danced. All the guys looked and sounded wonderful!

The Cure played some really amazing tracks in the this set such as Exploding Boy and Last Dance but I especially enjoyed Bloodflowers.

"My" Best concert ever of The Cure. Coming in Paris 20 years after their first appearance in the city of light, Robert Smith came on stage playing Subway Song and then saying those words : "Ce soir c'est l'histoire de The Cure" (Tonight this is The Cure's history). That night, the band played two songs of each albums, in chronological order. This was just amazing, even if I remember regretting the old days as they were playing "Club America". Thankfully they finished with the traditional "10:15 / Killing An (well are we allowed to quote the exact title of Albert Camus' book or is it forbidden nowadays?). Anyway, what a great concert !"My" Best concert ever of The Cure.
