Only their second concert in the UK. Went after seeing them on The Tube a couple of days before. Great concert but it wasn't in the refectory. It was in the much cosier Riley Smith Hall.

i was there! to this day, i thought they were called modern neon. seem to recall they were a bit of a crap electro outfit in the depeche mode/omd mold. they were deluged in spit poor sods as was the trend at punk gigs and the lead singer got pretty pissed off about it all - fair play. the stranglers were, needless to say, fukin brilliant.

I was there too,, what a n amazing sound.. Sheena and rockaway beach and blitz !! The boys played the lurkers ' new guitar in town' too. Brilliant night right at the front of the stage , the bass nearly killed me

great gig,the boys played as well. stayed out all night in leeds,walking around waiting for first bus,fucking freezing snow.
