Father John Misty on Wed, 11 May 2016
Father John Misty fan reviewWent to see Father John Misty at the O2.Academy Leeds last night with Stuart Poore (who helped me so much in my wheelchair btw - thank you so much Stu). The O2 staff were terrific but I have seen a lot of bands since the early 70s In Newcastle and I don't gush but I have to say I was completely blown away last night. Not seen anyone so good for a long long time. Astonishing. What a performer. So glad I went.
Anthrax on Sat, 28 Nov 2015
Anthrax fan memorieAmazing yet again. Downer that Charlie missed but what a player to bring off the bench in Dette. From start to finish the crowd lapped it up and played their part too.
Evil Twin sounded great and so looking forward to new album on 26th Feb, 2 days after my birthday...nice timing.
Janet Kay on Sat, 11 Jul 2015
Janet Kay fan memorieGreat venue excellent concert great atmosphere
Tony Visconti on Sun, 21 Jun 2015
Tony Visconti fan reviewWhat a night! As Bowie is my hero was not really sure what to expect, every song was fantastic played by very talented musicians and amazing vocals. The only downside is the night went far too quickly as thoroughly enjoyed it. And for Life on a Mars, my favourite song ever, I was just blown away.
Thank you for coming to Leeds.
Rival Sons on Sat, 28 Mar 2015
Rival Sons fan memorieDidn't play some of their best songs like Wild Animal and Until the sun comes. Crowd was a bit lethargic and talked through gig spoiling it somewhat. Still, they performed brilliantly.
Rival Sons fan memorieTheir performance was brilliant, some great improvised riffs and the drum solo everyone seemed to enjoy very much. And the vocals, absolutely outstanding with great audience participation at one point. Though being part of the audience would've been far better if everybody loosened up and left their bloody phones alone for a while, I am rating this purely on the performance of the band which couldn't have been better. Much love.
Placebo on Mon, 09 Mar 2015
Placebo fan memorieA truly amazing night. Been following the band for the past 20 years and they get better and better ✌️
Black Star Riders on Sun, 08 Mar 2015
Black Star Riders fan reviewGood night, the Amoretts first on gave it a good go hope you have a good future the BLACK STAR RIDERS hit the stage 5 songs from there new cd well worth it a few Lizzy classics thrown in and the best of there 1st album I have not known 70 mins go so fast. Not a big Europe fan have there 80's albums nothing new I did feel sorry for them cos how do you follow BSR ? Well they had a good go at it but for me only a hand full of songs worked on one song Joey did sounded out of tune with rest of band soon forgotten when Rock the night and Final countdown fired up.Very Enjoyable night out.
