The Fixx concert reviews and tour history

I like The Fixx and think that they are a very underrated band. However, I feel that their show that I attended fell short of their potential. Although I enjoyed the hits that were played, I was a little disappointed by the remaining songs. Looking at set lists in other cities after the fact, I noticed that they were almost identical to ours, with the exception of a few songs, making me doubt the "By Request" theme. Sure, some fan may have requested those songs, but they probably also had to get the approval of the band members in terms of confidence in their ability to play them. That's a shame because I believe that some of their best tracks are the deeper cuts. Again, The Fixx are a great band, but they misrepresented themselves.

This was my third year in a row seeing The Fixx at The Triple Door. So glad they've found a venue in Seattle that "gets" them and provides not only an intimate show-going atmosphere, but great sound and amazing views from just about every seat in the house. As for the show, an amazing time capsule of top hits and fan favorites "by request": simply outstanding! The crowd was on its feet more than once, and if anything was left wanting more.
