This was my first ever concert as a fresh faced 18 year old and it did not disappoint. From the excellent setlist to the levitation it was outstanding. My only gripe on the night were the extended solos, which could have been filled with more classic hits, but a night I will never forget 40 years later!
Mesmerising magical performance with original 9 band members,Maurice White,Philip Bailey,Verdine & Fred White, Al Mckay,Don Myrick,Larry Dunn, Andrew Woolfolk and Ralph Johnson + Phoenix Horns and Orchestra. Opening with a thunderclap and giant laser eagle flying overhead and an earthy commanding intro 'Welcome the 3 mighy elements!! ---EARTH,WIND AND FIRE!! , then eagle screeches and an pyroclactic burst of smoke and a Darth Vader figure descends onto stage and commandes tge pulsing arrival of a huge pyramid which lowers onto stage - a door opens and Maurice White and crew move down gangway and the show begins

It was the best concert I've been to. Such classy performers-so passionate, looked like they really enjoyed performing for us. Loved it! So thrilled Harrahs is stepping up their concerts again. I do miss the outdoor venue. But great none the less!
