Yes, I Jethro Tull is comprised of very talented musicians, and always has been. And yes, Ian Anderson has always been one of my favorite musician since I was a young boy. However, I wish that I hadn’t gone to the concert. Not only was there an over abundance of wheelchairs and walkers, but even a Ian Anderson appears to have lost some of his magical stage presence and theatrics to the point that it actually became depressing.

Lenny Kravitz is in an EPIC league of his own, the entire concert was electrifying, mesmerizing and full of good energy. The venue(Filene Center @ Wolf Trap) to complemented His style, suave and his performance. I was fortunate enough to be "wrapped up" in his love, literally. I got the biggest and best hug from the legend himself. Lenny exudes light and life, HE IS LOVE!!

If you have never seen Santana you owe it to yourself to see this iconic legend. At age 68 I would have expected Carlos to have slowed down a bit. NOT the case! He still had all the great licks and energy from 30+ years ago. The band was dynamic and not done "on the cheap." Best rhythm section I ever heard - 2 drummers with his kunga player who played so good I question if he is from this planet! Rounding out the band are trumpet, trombone, bass, 2 singers, keyboards, guitar. A real bonus was seeing his son Salvadore Santana do 3 songs and play keyboards. He is the real deal. At one point Salvadore sung with a great lady vocalist and with Carlos' 2 vocalists there were 4 voices coming at us! Real nice ensemble work. Another highlight was "Tequila" featuring his trombone player who just slayed his solo!

Thanks Carlos for still having "the right stuff!"

I try to see Gipsy Kings every year when they come to Wolf Trap. Great show, interactive with audience. Did feel it was a more low tempo show this time around and the band set sounded even more...acoustic? A lot of their shows in the past have seemed really upbeat but this one felt a little more relaxing in terms of the music they played, the style, how they sounded. I will continue to see them as long as they come to the DC area because I am a massive fan. Long live the Gipsy Kings.

The Heart gig at wolf Trap was the biggest rip off ive ever seen and i've been going to concerts 40 years. no warm up band and the show was 70 mins long with a ten min break then three led zep songs less than one hour twenty mins of entertainment. i came a really long way at great expense to see heart live and felt totally shortchanged. i spent a tremendous amount of time and energy for an hour of regurgitated radio hits and three cover songs. pathetic. when they were on they were good, but to do a one hur set for the cost of a full show was a disgrrace.an insult to their fans an a slap in the facee to their supporters. they used to be my generations role models. now they are just another rock and roll rip off. shame on you Heart

It was a great concert. It was my first Huey Lewis concert and yes when he asked for first timers to raise their hands, I did so! Hearing most of his hits was cool. I wanted to hear Back in time but I know they can't do everything.
