If you have never seen Santana you owe it to yourself to see this iconic legend. At age 68 I would have expected Carlos to have slowed down a bit. NOT the case! He still had all the great licks and energy from 30+ years ago. The band was dynamic and not done "on the cheap." Best rhythm section I ever heard - 2 drummers with his kunga player who played so good I question if he is from this planet! Rounding out the band are trumpet, trombone, bass, 2 singers, keyboards, guitar. A real bonus was seeing his son Salvadore Santana do 3 songs and play keyboards. He is the real deal. At one point Salvadore sung with a great lady vocalist and with Carlos' 2 vocalists there were 4 voices coming at us! Real nice ensemble work. Another highlight was "Tequila" featuring his trombone player who just slayed his solo!
Thanks Carlos for still having "the right stuff!"
