my recollection is that a little old man came out and sat on a stool bent the living daylights out of a chord and the whole building began to hover very slightly above th eearth

I was at this concert and I couldn't have put it better. It was an electric moment and John Lee Hooker held the crowd from that moment onwards.

Traveled from Northern Ireland at 18 years of age to see the legend play. Never forget it.

I was there and the band was TIGHT. One of my best live music memories.

My first time going to see Leonard Cohen,I had his album and listened to it a lot, at the time I used to go to a lot of folk nights in local pubs! I was hooked after seeing him live. I still play his music frequently, I recently bought a print his son was selling, it has his face drawn in watercolours and the words There is a crack in everything, that’s how the light gets in” from one of his songs.Its beautiful.

Fantastic gig with Eric belting out amazing solos. He played Little Wing as a tribute to Jimi.
