Saw Mr. Ferry and crew at the Tower theatre in Philadelphia, in spite of still recovering from a throat infection. Mr. Ferry and company were spot on! The set contained lots of material from the early years, the "knowing" (see older) crowd was very knowledgable and receptive.
Mr. Ferry referring to the painting "The Bride Stripped Bare" being the inspiration for the title of the album and hanging in the Philadelphia museum brought a loud cheer after he performed "Can't let go" from said album.
This show was very emotional and exciting for me since some of this very music helped me escape through some very dark years and was cathartic for me.
Thank you! LL
My only quip...the sound engineering was inconsistent....but overall was a excellent show
