The Factory Theatre in Marrickville, Australia on Thu, 02 Oct 2014
The band were all kinds of unbelievable awesome. I'm so glad they've reunited and playing again.
The security at The Factory absolutely sucked. They were mean and threw their weight around for no good reason!
The Factory Theatre in Marrickville, Australia on Sat, 27 Sep 2014
The show was brilliant, but it was a little disappointing that security was lacking and the band had to intervene (and stop playing) before something was done about unruly behaviour in the crowd. Act: A+ Venue management: D
Theatre of Living Arts (TLA) in Philadelphia, US on Tue, 22 Jul 2014
I was very excited to hear that the original members of Veruca Salt were back together but to be honest, I was nervous about seeing this show. I saw them in 1997 with Local H in Montreal and even though I have seen over 350 concerts in my life, that show was always in my Top Five. That is a tough act to follow.
I have been a Veruca Salt fan ever since American Thighs and was very bummed when they broke up. I followed both the band and Nina after the break up and really enjoyed her solo work so I wasn't sure how this show was going to fit in after 18 years.
I am glad to say that Veruca Salt is back. It was like they never missed a beat. Nina and Louise sounded fantastic and the chemistry that was on stage in 1997 was in full effect in this show. The guys were smiling and you could tell they were all having fun and happy to be back together.
The set was great with every Veruca Salt fan singing along not just to the past hits but some of the B - Sides. Even the new stuff was fantastic which is rare for a band that was on hiatus for so long. Looking forward to their new release.
All in all, this show really exceeded my expectations and it was a great night. Hope they come through again with their next tour.

Firebird in St Louis, US on Sun, 13 Jul 2014
They were incredible. I've seen them several times and they do not disappoint!!
Concert was amazing! Saw VS twice when they opened for Bush and at Mississippi Nights in the late 90's. So much fun last night!
I don't throw out a rating like *perfection lightly but here's the deal: I was a Veruca Salt fan, back in the day, who never got to see them in concert. When the original lineup imploded, effectively breaking up the magic, I thought I missed my chance to see these folks rock. So glad VS is back at full strength and cranking it up at max volume. It's like they never stopped, never missed a beat. The band's sound was tight as hell, The Firebird was a sweaty, happy mess of a venue, and the energy from the band was electrifying...needless to say, I'm glad I made the trip to St. Louis and didn't miss another chance to see this epic group in concert!

Thank you for blessing us with your rock & roll epicness.
