Vanilla Fudge concert reviews and tour history

I'm writing this over six years after the concert but felt obligated to after seeing no one else did. For someone who started listening to rock in the Sixties, this show was almost heavenly. I was a Vanilla Fudge fan since that first album and they were amazing, as good as they were when I first saw them in '68. Mark Stein is a force of nature. Drummer Jim McCarty was the only original Yardbird remaining but the band was strong, with singer John Idan and guitarist Johnny A standing out. But the Yardbirds were a legendary band and to see them in any form, especially one this good, was a treat. The audience seemed to love both bands.
