Great show! I too love the small venue. Richard sounded amazing - exactly how he did back in the day. Hope he returns soon!!
The concert was flipping amazing. In this type of venue, I absolutely love the way you feel it being personal. Richard brought it as he always does. I was like a 16 year old again, gushing over him. He is by far my favorite artist of all time.

Love, love, love that Richard has changed the way he sang his old tunes. It's obvious he has matured and his voice and his versions sound better than they did 25 years ago!!!! Absolutely loved his songs. Was disappointed however in his presentation. He appeared tired and did not seem happy to be playing for the audience that night. Not his usual enthusiastic self - such as on "Night Out with Friends" Don't know what that was about?? Not happy to be in Minnesota??? Didn't provide an encore- seemed frustrated that some guy had not plugged in his guitar at the right time. WE LOVE RM here- in Minnesota - so happy he came to the "Minne-Apple" after the "Big Apple" concert. He did an excellent job - my husband gave him a "9" after being skeptical about attending - thought it would be a waste to attend!!! He was and always is fantastic in concerts and on his CD's.
Loved hearing all the songs that brought me back to my childhood. I enjoyed the concert a lot!! The ONLY thing I wish had been different, is if he had sang his top hits in the version we all knew. They sounded great changed up a bit, but I always wanna hear them the way I remember them.

Marx is a hell of a performer, he sounds just as good as he did 20 years ago. His acoustic concerts on long island are fantastic, never a dull moment and never a song that doesnt sound awesome when he sings it right in front of you.
Bilheimer Capitol Theatre in Clearwater, US on Sat, 11 Oct 2014
Always gives a great performance and enjoy when he can relates to the audience and as his band. Love when he talks about the songs, where they came from and how they were created. Class act!
Richard is always awesome!!!
