Ms. Lauryn Hill concert reviews and tour history

I loved the concert but wished that I could of got an autograph...

Had such an amazing night! Despite being over 1.5 hours late, she came on stage and made me completely forget her punctuality.
The mixed up tracks were refreshing, her vocals were stunning, her acoustic set was beautiful and her energy was contagious.
Everything I expected and more. Honored I can now say I have seen the legend that is Lauryn Hill sing live on stage! Feel blessed!

Well after 3 hours of waiting for lauryn she began her very interesting repertoire, it was definitely different and for several people disaponting as none could sing along with her-she was singing those tunes 100kph- which I though it was amazing in a way. Hands donw she is true talent, her voice is like no other. So after her Kaye moment where she was going back and fort with members of the audience she sang the rest of great songs. Had a good time but the late factor was disappointing. Still love her thought

First off Lauryn Hill... suppose to be on at 9 didn't show up till nearly half ten... stood for nearly 3 hours only to have to leave to catch a train to leeds was gutted to leave but if she had come on stage around 9 would of been okay. Anyways overall disappointing and the reviews afterwards were mixed and for her to ask what our problem was .... er try being over an hour late FOR YOUR SHOW and then have a cheek to say we need manners, I think its Her that needs manners and to show fans some respect we pay to see an artist not an empty stage..

Awesome show, found it pretty surreal seeing her and her band! They absolutely nailed it, such impressive improvisations/jams and I really liked the creativity that went into the different renditions of the tunes. People often don't appreciate how hard it is to do what they did! Lauryn didn't miss a note. What a human being :D True artist. Loved every second.

Second half more enjoyable than the first. Annoying how Lauryn plays the songs we love so differently that we are unable to dance or sing a long. The only time we could accurately sing a long and dance was juring tge Bob Marley portion of the show.
It's great seeing Lauryn develop old material in new ways but it has really been at the expense of the fans. £40-£50 to see a show where you can never really get into the feel of the show is poor.

My group walked out after three songs.
I've never walked out of a concert before.
The songs were so bastardised that they were
Unrecognisable. The sound quality was poor.
I feel robbed.

Very disappointed! Left early!

I wish I could say with enthusiasm how great Lauryn Hill's performance was. I felt like I was at 5 different shows: rock concert, gospel sermon, hip hop show, acoustic soul, and reggae. Hill's energy was fantastic and I wasn't expecting such an upbeat, eclectic and lively performance as I know her most for her acoustic and hip hop performances but I was pleasantly surprised. However... The wait was ridiculous. The opener was pleasant, but the hour of played-out oldies afterward completely killed my vibe and excitement. Finally we all got excited when the DJ came out who actually played good music, but interrupted the songs so much with his comments that I couldn't even enjoy it. And after attempting to hype the crowd for Hill's performance with a 45 minute DJ set, we were left waiting for another 45 minutes before Lauryn came out!
The crowd that was once rowdy and rambunctious awaiting Hill were becoming more and more visibly upset, myself included. By the time Hill came out you could tell people were mad (there were even "Boo's" at some points during the wait). I was ready to sleep, not be jumping up and down. Luckily her performance did not disappoint, but the wait completely killed all my enthusiasm. As great as the show was with the fun band and the beautiful energetic background singers, I can't say I would ever pay to see Lauryn Hill again, unless it was at a festival on a strict timeframe.

She showed up late and did not apologize. she arrived on stage at 10:05pm and her voice was bad. Very disappointing.
