BEST concert I have ever been to in my life!! On spot music and vocals PLUS a rotating stage! What a marvelous venue! And what an inspiration to me and my songwriting. I have written over 1200 songs all because of GL and his poetic and heart-filled music. Truly the greatest of all time.

Gordon Lightfoot's concert was inspiring and left a warm feeling in my heart. He's still doing what he loves. His lyrics and voice make you feel you're part of the story he's telling and you are there.

It was my first time seeing him in concert & I loved it!! Only thing that could have been better was the volume, I could hear the ice moving around in my cup. Lol, no joke or exaggeration!! It was by far the quietest concert I've ever been to!! It'd have been louder if they'd just played though their amps. That being said, Gordon looked & sounded great!! Was glad to be present for the 1st ever MASSEY HALL HONOURS AWARD!! I think it was 152 shows he's done at MASSEY, so if anyone deserves it, he does. I'd give it 3-3.5 of 5, only cause of the low volume. Could/should have been much louder IMHO. I'd go see him again in a heartbeat though. Lol! ;)

Thanks to a true Canadian Icon. It was great to hear so many old favorites! Nostalgic, peaceful, and very enjoyable. Gordon sounded as good as ever and respect for him was evident from the crowd :)

While you're not going to hear the strong burr of a voice that he had in his "Sundown" days; you are going to watch one of North America's greatest songwriters strum his guitar to some of his best penned works. The years have slowed Gordon Lightfoot's rhythm down; however, it's still crisp, and he's still backed up with the Lightfoot band who doesn't miss a step. His new lead guitarist (Carter Lancaster) isn't quite as intense as the late Terry Clements; but Carter does "get down" when the song lets him (Listen to "Baby Step Back", and see if you don't agree!). Lightfoot is constantly re-tuning his guitars, and that's a good thing! It lets you know he's still a perfectionist; and wants to put as good a show as he can for the audience. Sprinkle in some humorous banter now and then, and you're in for a good time as you find yourself boppin' your head, and tapping your toes to his great songs. It's well worth your while to go if you can.

A magical evening from beginning to end. Gordon looked much healthier than 2 years ago when I saw him last.

Great performance by Gordon Lightfoot. Thought the sound volume could have been louder. I actually heard someone holler to increase the sound. He did a wonderful job with his classics.

Gord put on a great show as always. Nothing against the person who wrote the first comment, but i stuck around after the show and was able to meet Gordon really quick and he was nice enough to take a picture with me and sign my ticket. And he thanked me for coming. Im the one who started out by thanking him for all the great music. I felt that at the end of the show when he put his hands up and waved at the crowd and smiled, that was his way of thanking him. This was my 5th Lightfoot show and ill keep coming back as long as i can.

Although I could not fault is performance of the songs, he certainly is not a personable performer. To end a concert without thanking the audience for coming to the concert is not good manners.

Seemed to be a come, perform, and leave concert. I would not see him again.
