A guest 100% at Perth Concert Hall, Perth on Sat, 15 Sep 2018
I was happy to go along with friends as I liked Elkie Brooks years ago but thought " She's 73, her voice won't be the same". What do I know - she was fantastic!! I would say she was one of those rare performers whose voice sounds even better live than on her recordings. Her voice filled the hall and some of the notes she reached were incredible. What I also enjoyed was how much Elkie herself was enjoying it - she was having a blast! She looks and sounds marvellous. I will definitely be back to her next time she's back this way. Carol x
