Three of us drove 160 miles from Newcastle to see a true songwriting genius and we were not disappointed! A fantastic performance fro a hugely talented performer.
Starting with a keyboard set of emotionally charged and beautifully delivered songs Butch then moved onto an acoustic set including an hilarious put down of a rude audience member talking too loudly.
Mixtape was amazing with a full crowd sing a long.
Then out came the electric guitar and the high tempo crescendo to the set.
Encore was a moving speech about his feelings towards his Dad, truly moving, I just wanted to go on stage and give him my sympathies as this is still clearly raw.
Only downside was we waited twenty minutes after the end of the set hoping to get items signed but Butch had not emerged and we had to leave on the long drive home, gutted.
All I all though a well crafted set expertly delivered by one of my heroes, thanks Butch

Butch was wonderful but the crowd and the venue were horrible. It was incredibly overcrowded and it seemed no one wanted to listen to the music. Butch even said at one point that if anyone wanted to talk instead of watching the show, to just leave. I hope he never has another show here again.

The only things I did not like were the duck bathrooms being out of service, the smokers penitentiary, and the totally drunk douche at the bar singing, and rude ass people behind me talking loudly throughout. I don't go out much, I can't I'm a single parent. It sucks when you get the time and tickets and people act stupid. Otherwise, Dove and wolf, Jonathan, and of Butch omfg they were phenomenal!!

I've been following Butch since 1999 and I've been lucky enough to see him perform many times over the years. Last night was one of the best and most amazing performances. Dude, you are a fucking God and I will always preach the gospel of Butch. Thanks for sharing such a personal part of your life with us. Big Butch is smiling.

Butch is a performer and puts on an incredible show! Third time I have seen him with the first two in my years in Atlanta. Hopefully Columbus will catch on because he is a legend down in Georgia. New album is solid and the dedication to his father was touching. Hopefully he will be coming back this way soon.
