One of the best sounding shows I ever attended. Their album Dirt had just come out 2 weeks before this show, so they were still somewhat unknown. Layne Staley had a broken leg and couldn't move around, but I think that made him better focus on his singing. Jerry Cantrell was standing behind me in line to get a drink, and I bought him a Jack and Coke.

Fantastic concert. The musicianship, interaction with the audience, the wonderful energies - these guys give everything they've got. You can tell that they absolutely love it.
Awesome concert! First, Opeth and then Alice In Chains. Best festival ever!

Alice in Chains played a PERFECT performance! Even with Sean being sick, he still pounded away on those drums. Jerry Cantrell and Mike Inez were shredding those guitars and Will was singing his heart out. GREAT GREAT GREAT.
Alice in Chains were as awesome as ever, great show!!! Can't wait for the next time. Sean Kinney coming to the edge of the stage to bring our flag onto the stage was something I will never forget! Jerry Cantrell's immediate point and head nod was the icing on the cake! Outstanding performance and Iowa can't wait to have you back!
