    Best concert I have ever been to. One outdoors was incredible. The sound was on point and clear. The largest mosh pit I ever saw knocked down the fence to regular seats and poured in. And 3 Encores! What a time to be a metalhead.

    #1 seeing my GF so happy
    #2 Harvester of Sorrow
    Setlist was quite good, but they seems to "lost it" in some parts of songs - strong start but just an okay finish.
    Still amazing concert!

    This was not the best performance from Metallica, but there were a couple of very interesting things about this one that made it special. It was at the height of Metallica's popularity. There were a couple hundred thousand people there, basically general admission with 21+ on one side and -21 on the other. The party out in the parking lot was just as much fun as the concert. Metallica played an acoustic set starting around the half way point of the show. Maybe not the best idea for a crowd that large, but it was still fun. The lines were brutal, and it took several hours to get out of the parking lot, but everyone you knew was there.

    Eigentlich war ich bei Rock im Park. Die Show war für damalige Verhältnisse ziemlich cool, ich habe sie da aber auch zum ersten Mal gesehen. Natürlich Hit auf Hit, und ein neues Album (St.Anger) im Gepäck. Coole Typen, perfekte Beherrschung auf den Instrumenten
