I've been wanting to see the Melvins for YEARS! Last night, my wish came true. Buzz was literally inches from me the entire show. I can still feel the sound on my face. I lost all of my abilities to keep cool ~ I lost it like I imagine young girls did seeing the Beatles for the first time. In a OH MY GOD, this is a pure, genuine, the real deal ARTIST kind of way. We were shared the same air as a musical genius. I rank this as close to seeing Elvis as you can get without going to wherever Elvis is!

Awesome show! Saw the Aquabats at Trees in Dallas on Sept. 25 with my two little girls. It was their first real concert. We had a great time! The band puts on a high energy show, and they make sure that everyone is aware of the little ones in the crowd. The free ear plugs for the kids is a great thought. They sing several of the songs from the show, which my kid loves. The end of the show was awesome when the kids get on stage. I was hoping for more of the funny skits. After the concert, the band was very nice and signed my daughter's souvenir helmet. If you have kids with you, stick to the outside edges of the crowd, as the college age kids still like to mosh some in the middle. I wish the Aquabats toured the area more often.
Favorite moment: When the kids got on stage. Also, chicken nuggets flying into the crowd!

Aquabats put on a great show geared towards all ages without forgeting their long time fans in Dallas. Was a nice touch to bring all the kids on stage for the last song (Pool Party). Was great to see them again and bring the kids. They had a blast. Trees was a great venue and the staff was awesome too.

Get kicked out within 20 minutes for having a beer and no ID. I waited months to see (hed) again and the bouncers absolutely ruined my night. Probably the most disappointing night I've ever had. I've been going to Trees for years without any problems, and this is the fifth time I would have seen (hed) pe there, and the ninth time in a row since 2010. Definitely won't be going to Trees again.

The atmosphere at this show was, as the kids call it "lit", AF in fact. Got to be a unique show because it's religious being in the heap of sweaty people known as the pit
