Rick sounded amazing. The acoustics were great, but the facility overall is poor.

Rick was amazing! Too bad the venue and security people were very rude. One security guard was pushing people and wouldn't during one song, Rick lets children on stage and this guard wouldn't let a little girl go even though 3 other kids were on stage. I was there with about 25 of my friends and it's very doubtful that you will see us there again. We will also be letting Rick's management know about this

Rick was AWESOME!! He put on, as ALWAYS, one heck of a show!!!! Security on the other hand was TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!! We had 2nd row seats which by all general standards should be excellent seats as should any seat within the first 10 or so rows when there is a large space in between the first row and the stage and right before the concert started many of us had wonderful standing room spots by the stage until a couple of people in the front row started complaining because we were in their way to their friends who were security guards (one man made a point to tell me that they were his friends and that they WOULD move us and no one would stand by the stage except those in the first row). Now, logically everyone would have understood if they would have moved us to our seats and given all of those in the front row the chance to be AT the stage, that would have been fair, and THEN allowed us to go back up to the stage. That would have been fine. Instead we were told that the people in the front row had paid for the right to be at the stage over everyone else. NO, they did not. They got LUCKY enough to get 1st row seats but all of us in that area for the first 10 or whatever rows paid the exact same price for our tickets. I paid the same price for Orch 2, row B, seats 9 and 10 as did the people in Orch 2, row A, seats 9 and 10 and people in row H paid the same price that I did for row B. I had no issues with people behind me being in front of me or next to me when we were all up at the stage, we were there to have fun. We had security guards threatening us, swearing at us and over all just being super nasty to us. At one point I asked a security guard if he could hand Rick my friend's roses and he said no, pointed to the front row and said "only THOSE people paid for that right". and again, no they did NOT....they paid the same amount that my friends and I paid. Management was no better.. When my husband went to speak to them, during the concert, they were rude and nasty to him.

Now that we all know that ONLY the front row has the right to go to the stage during the concert at this venue there is NO POINT in going back if we cannot get front row. I know at least 100 people who won't go back there again and each of them, well, we all know the power of 10 rule (every 1 person tells 10 people and those 10 people, each of them tells 10 people). The venue sucks, the security sucks and quite honestly there is NOTHING that would get me and many others to go back there!

And those of us who have seen Rick Springfield multiple times in concert could tell that he sensed the tension, he put on a great show but the general energy and sense of fun was missing and it was evident that he thought that those in the first row had paid extra for that privilege and as a result didn't interact with them as much as he would have if the audience had been allowed to surge to the stage. He has a habit of skipping over the elite and he had no way of knowing that just those 30 or so people up at the stage were there because of the security and not because they paid for it. That was a shame for some of them who expected more interaction.

Fix your security guard issues or you will find that many people from all upcoming events will NOT be repeat customers and your business will fail (I know that new ownership has stepped in and will take full effect on 9/1).

Rick was as always amazing. I agree with the other posts that "security" did not seem professional or equipped to handle the people that were there. There was not a massive crowd and people who did not have tickets to be up front pushed their way up to the stage and stayed there for the entire concert. I too shall be re-evaluating returning for further events.

Just to be clear, everyone up by the stage (all of 30 people) were those who had front row seats. NO ONE from any other seats were up there. Initially people from other rows were because at 75% of the Rick Springfield concerts that's what people do and it is what RS expects, he expects to have his fans up at the stage having the time of their lives. BUT, before the concert started security moved us all and then threatened people who even looked like they might try to get up by the stage, swore at us and were nasty as hell to us. Front row people should NOT be the only people allowed to stand by the stage if they pay the same exact price as the rest of the people behind them for 10 or so rows did. If they want that special treatment then make front row seats $50 more. Then and ONLY then would the people in rows 2 and back understand that they paid for that ability. They did not pay for that for the RS concert and security could have been more flexible.

I was also very frustrated with the rudeness of the security. I had seats in row G orch2. Before the show even began, I had walked up toward the front row to simply say hello to a friend. A black security guard was standing at the front row between orch1 and orch 2. He did not even allow me to pass up to the front row to say hello to a friend. So from the second row aisle between orch 1 and orch 2 I tapped my friend on the shoulder to say hello, having said not a word to the security guard. Without prompting on his part, as I was merely wanting to say hello to a friend, he said to me "you don't think I see you but I do see you".
Very condescending on his part, as all I did was tap the girl on the shoulder to say hello. Again, I reiterate... The show had not even begun, I was not causing any disturbance, and didn't deserve his condescending rude remark. Obviously I was well aware he saw me as I don't live in dreamland, nor do I consider myself invisible or a figment of his imagination. Rude... Very rude... We go to these concerts and meet friends here. Why was it an issue to say hello to a friend? Rick and his band gave a great show as always. And to clarify above comments, nobody pushed Their way up to the front row that didn't have front row seats because the rude security wouldn't allow anyone other than the first row to be past the first row, and yes they did say "those people in the front row paid to be in the front row. And front row tickets cost the same as 8th row seats. The comment above that people pushed Their way up and stayed is an absolute untrue statement.

I have to admit Rick put on a really great show as usual...but the security really put a damper on the evening. That was pretty disappointing. I understand the security guys had to do their job, but exactly what was the point? If EVERYONE had to stay in their seats then EVERYONE should had stayed in their seats. There were people standing in the aisles, crowding the aisles, and whoa-that could of been a fire hazard, maybe? But the overcrowded guests standing in the aisles never went back to their seats. Just sayin'. Also to note, I noticed handicapped seats at the back of the room, but not too much up front. Our special need friends using canes would have loved special accommodations closer to the stage.

I have to say I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with how things were run the security guards were HORRIBLE to say the least!! I had the second row which I have never had second row for a concert and was so excited to be going and where I was sitting! Rick Springfield loves his fans and interacting with them! So knowing that I was going to be right up by the stage felt like a dream come true for me until the security guards came into action with a big chip on there shoulders and treating everyone miserably which put a damper on things!! Then decided to take it for what it is and enjoy the concert.I will NEVER return to see him there!! Very sad!! I know Mr. Springfield's management will here about all of this!! A very Disgruntled fan thanks to your staff!!!

I was very disappointed by the way security acted at this show. If people don't know by now how Rick wants his fans to go to the stage than you've been living under a rock. I understand that security has to do their job and protect the performer but they do not need to be physical or make rude comments. Plus there were huge amps in front of the stage that made it impossible to jump Rick or do anything physical to harm him. When fans go to a Rick Springfield concert we are there to see our friends and interact with Rick, we are not there to cause drama or attack him, we go to have a good time. Having big muscled security guards physically stop people from going to the stage or not even let a little girl sing with Rick when there are other kids on stage is just wrong and uncalled for, it's unnecessary. I know this is one venue we will not be attending in the future.
