It was 40 years ago and I went to this concert of my forever favorite guitarist in my hometown. Man, was he in a bad mood! It took ages between the songs to pick another guitar. It is no surprise to me that he collapsed soon after this show. He did recover from his habits later on. Sadly he died a helicopter crash. A true guitar magician gone. But that night in Kerkrade he was not in his best shape.

Greatest gig ever

I was there and i agree!!! Marvelous!! Speecheless!!! and so on....

I have been there, Stevie was great, playing his guitar like a god, walking around with feather headdress, smoking some kind of a calumet (filled with drugs given by "Bandidos") but his music: simply unforgettable!! Gues those who have been there too will agree!! Mario
