This show combined with the intimate venue of the Exit In created what has to be one of the best concerts this 46 year old has been to. Being turned on like many others to Gangstagrass from the TV series Justified I began to explore their music and every single release is awesome. What an experience to see banjo, fiddle, dobro, guitar and rap live creating a sound like no other. Also having the ability to meet the members, shake their hands, and personally tell them how much they are appreciated. I will make sure and seek them out for anymore live performances.
Gangstagrass was magical. It was single-handedly the best concert I ever attended (and that includes Willie Nelson, Yes, Styx, and the Rolling Stones among many others.) It felt like a group of close friends were gathered in the round, jamming together. It was mind-blowing, on point, and simply perfection. Thank you. Thank you for one of the most memorable evenings of my life.
