Being a NOLA native, Dumpstaphunk was enjoyable with their signature funk! Definitely recognized miss and love the voices of the Nevilles. Very fun!
JJ Grey & MoFro was amazing!! JJ's voice was delicious and his and MoFro's musicianship was a sight to see and hear!
As for Trombone Shorty, this was my 3rd time seeing him here in Eugene. I was very surprised with how much the electric guitars were in the forefront. It's certainly been a while since I've seen them, some years, but as a NOLA native it pains me to express some disappointment. I expected more of the signature horn playing, maybe more were highlighted towards the end. Unfortunately, I ended up leaving a little early.
All this to say that I still enjoyed the concert overall.

Definitely in the top five bands for the past 11 months, and I have seen over 170 bands in that time. I loved every minute of the show, everything about it was PERFECT!!

Wonderful concert and amazing show! One criticism: sound balance between instruments was a bit off, percussion almost overwhelmed other instruments.

Best LIVE show I feel I've ever seen! So much PASSION!¡ SUPER ENGAGING! Felt the trombone making love to my ears(full body)! Um umm ummm! Thanks to Nadege Uwase for introducing me to something new :) Trombone Shorty's in my TOP 3 jazz favs after last night :D! Can't wait for the next!

Night 2 would have been better. I was expecting to see more songs that I like. Downfall to having 2 nights
