It was a fun concert that took place in an open-air, oval shaped, bicycle track located in Ludwigshafen. The weather was perfect that day, and the acoustics were pretty good. There was a fair amount of fantastic wine being drunk straight out of the bottle. The friendly crowd was mostly comprised of college aged German couples and young US Military Service Men, some of which were accompanied by their wives and/or girlfriends. Thin Lizzie opened-up for Alice Cooper. I recall them singing "The Boys are Back in Town". Alice's set began with Welcome to My Nightmare, as Alice jumped through a verticle slit in a large projector screen that depicted Alice being chased through a desert landscape by a huge zombie. Not bad choreography for 1975 !
