Richie Havens concert reviews and tour history

I was just starting my sophomore year at Indiana University and Stonehenge II was put on in old football stadium next the school library as a back to school event. Biggest memories were of Richie Havens and a relatively new country rock band called Poco. Couple other bands including one with someone by name Chase. I believe this is Bill Chase, whose horn heavy rock came up with “Got to get it on”. Please correct me if my memory is bad after 54 years. Those were the days!

I was there also!!! Richie was the final of 3 acts. As I was walking back to my dorm after the rain the sun came out from between the clouds!!!! A truly magical mystical moment I shall never forget.

At the time, I was a small kid from a small town with a huge reputation (Milan). I thought beer was exotic, and there were people clearly tripping out at the Stonehenge Concert . That year Richie Havens had his biggest hit with a redo of George Harrison's "Here Comes the Sun" which he was playing during a rainstorm. I will swear to the Gods of the Universe, it started pouring rain (like in the Woodstock movie I had seen) a huge double rainbow appeared over the IU library. It was truly mind blowing. Thank you Richie and God. I will never forget it!!!
