Eddie's Attic in Decatur, US on Sun, 11 Oct 2015
The Venue was an intimate, comfortable setup! Aaron Tap opened the show with his talented guitar skills and beautiful voice. Matt and Aaron's chemistry is so much fun to watch, almost as entertaining as the amazing lyrics and music they play. Matt Nathanson never disappoints. His candor is part of his charm and totally engages all. The songs are all beautiful, his ability to change up the arrangements with his amazing voice is always entertaining. Eddies Attic is the perfect setting for Matt. Oh and let's just talk about the "wheel of Nathanson" how cool is that?! He has a wheel of songs from the past 20 years. It makes every show guaranteed to be a unique experience. I would love to go back to Eddies anytime, especially for Matt
Wonderful concert! Great venue.
The only thing holding me back from rating this as one of the best was the venue. I LOVE Eddie's, however, I was stuck in the back by the door standing the entire show, which was awkward being 5'1. Other than that, the format was great, I liked that I heard songs I had never seen live before, and Matt always does a great job interacting with his fans during the show. Thank you for a wonderful evening!!

Matt never fails to put on a great show!
The State Theatre in Modesto, US on Tue, 02 Dec 2014
Matt Nathanson was by far my favorite of the night. Sadly, American Authors were my least favorite. Andy Grammer and Echosmith were great as well. The overall experience was awesome. :)

Matt Nathanson is my favourite artist, and I actually credit his live acoustic shows as what got me back into loving and listening to music (the late 90's, early 2000's sucked) This show was no different than a few other Matt Nathanson/Aaron Tap shows. Fantastic sound quality, excellent entertainment (banter) and some amazing songs. I have heard the song "run" done acoustic, studio and full band, don't mind the song but this night's version was spectacular... that's art! The opening act (Headwater) was a perfect fit... beautiful music and a fine performance as well.
Matt Nathanson is my FAVOURITE artist to see perform, and seeing him in Whistler was the best... Great stories, and amazing music, in a beautiful place. I was able to chat with Aaron Tap after sound check, and that was beyond great. I was able to get a set list after the show, which was hand-written (so happy to get that).
I love the stories, and the way Matt connects with the audience- it just draws you in. The only thing that could have made it better would have been to have had a Meet & Greet with Matt after the show. Looking forward to the next time Matt comes to Vancouver (or anywhere close). I highly recommend to see him next time you get the chance.
