Show was awesome. Had backstage pass and was sitting backstage on a folding chair when an "older" Brother wearing a white suit and white Panama Hat walked up , sat down right next to me , pulled a pint of Canadian Club out of his inside coat pocket , took a drink and handed me the bottle. As I was taking a drink , he said " MY NAME IS JOHN LEE HOOKER , and I don't give a damn. Handing back the pint , I commented , " Mr. HOOKER , I now have something to tell my grandchildren!"💝 ✌🏼~ Dan McNabb Hendersonville North Carolina

Traveled from Northern Ireland at 18 years of age to see the legend play. Never forget it.
I was at this concert and I couldn't have put it better. It was an electric moment and John Lee Hooker held the crowd from that moment onwards.
my recollection is that a little old man came out and sat on a stool bent the living daylights out of a chord and the whole building began to hover very slightly above th eearth
