I only read a tiny article in Spin magazine about Jeff, but it was enough to convince me to go out to see him play in 94 at Club Soda. There might have been 20 people there. I was entranced - Captivated by the passion that poured out of him. Little did I know the significance of getting the chance to witness Jeff perform. Still one of my most memorable shows to this day.

The greatest concert I ever had the privilege of witnessing. Before walking through the doors that night I didn't know who Jeff Buckley was, and by the end of the night I had seen something very special. It felt like a spiritual pilgrimage for the main act as he played in the city of Van Morrison. Glen Hansard was the support and sang that he needed a revelation. For me the concert was definitely a revelation. Jeff played his guitar like the bells on Astral Weeks. It was the first time I heard the song Hallelujah and while it was written by Leonard Cohen, for me it will always belong to Jeff. I thank God for being there that night.

I was in that year on the concert and will always remember it. It was amazing. It was like listening to an angel singing. It sounds maybe cheesy, but there is not a beter way for expressing it. So glad that I have been there. My friend with whom I've been there became a few years later my husband. We will always listen to his music. RIP
