Fantastic gig, venue could have been better but Ash were incredible. Highly recommend!
Slane Castle in Slane, Ireland on Sat, 30 May 2015
Massive disappointment, I've waited years to see Foo's, the bands were outstanding but the venue was so poorly organised and poorly ran it was actually quite scary. The weather was horrible (not anyone's fault) but there was people off their heads on drugs and so drunk that they couldn't stand. I had to help a girl who had a seizure after being spiked with some sort of drug (she swore she hadn't taken anything) and waited 7 minutes for medics to arrive. She literally could of died. There was people falling everywhere and people smoking drugs in front of children. Staff at the food stalls were nasty and there was inadequate security staffing in the venue. Outside was filled with police but inside was horrendous. I know certain things are beyond staff's control, like the weather but if I'm paying over £250 to come down from Belfast to stay for the night at one of the most famous concerts in the UK and Ireland, I do expect it to be a little more better organised. Saying that the food was gorgeous and the check point staff were lovely. I guess other people just ruined it for everyone else. Such a shame I was looking forward to it for so long.
