I was there that night exactly 9 years ago. It was the first time I saw her live and boy was she alive. It was a concert I will never forget -a solo show - just her and her guitar - and boots to keep time. She was a little nervous. I can't remember the set list - but every song was strong and true and passionate. I fell in love with her music that night. She finished the night singing unaccompanied - I think it was an old Jewish song. The hairs stood on end. It was a dream night from a dream singer and song writer. Thank you Bakewell!
