808 State fans concert reviews
O2 ABC Glasgow in Glasgow, UK on Sat, 25 Oct 2014
Well I'd like to say 808 State were awesome (seen them before so I know they are) but the sound in that place at the actual CONcert was the most SHITEST sound I've ever heard so technically never got to hear a bit ot it. So many people were complaining about it too. All you could hear was a dull fuhd coming at you llike you were trapped in a tiny cupboard inside disused broken submarine at the bottom of the ocean. Not one single instruement could be heard clearly. We moved all over the hall to try and get a better sound vantage point but it was simply pants everywhere. The sound engineer in that place should be bloody ashamed or even shot for thinking that was acceptable and the sound system needs a total overhaul. I've been going out for over 30 years to raves, concerts etc and I have NEVER been so shocked at the clarity of a so called "sound system". No waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay am I ever going back to that venue no matter who's playing. Sorry 808 State but I was so looking forward to seeing you again but left feeling conned. I was 2 seconds away from asking for my money back or speaking to the management or something all through that travesty but that's more hastle than it's worth iniit. If I were you 808 State I'd forget about going anywhere near that place again pffffffffffffffffffffffffffffft :-(
