Great show, I think Steel Panther went on late because the hall owner wanted to make money selling as much beer as possible before the band went on, not SP's fault ... the acoustics in that place suck, however, so although you could tell the bands were doing their job, the sound man had his PA volume up too high and the drums drowned out the guitars and bass too much ... very boomy kick drum ... the bands were very energetic and rocked hard, but the room acoustics were a problem ... and I went close to the stage and then up in he balcony for the 2nd half and the sound was crap everywhere... on the other hand the light show was great, esp for Judas Priest, who had huge back projection screens with interesting imagery to match each song, and Halford drove the Harley out on stage for Hell Bent For Leather. They played alot of hits plus new material, as did Steel Panther, so the set lists were great.
Steel Panther and Judas Priest put on quite the show, especially Judas Priest, with Halford's vocals and Ritchie's and Tipton's solos simply outstanding. Steel Panther was hilarious as usual, and had a great setlist. Only two things disappointed me: Steel Panther came on an hour late, with the crowd booing for some time, and Judas Priest didn't play any songs off the Painkiller album, which in my opinion has some of their greatest songs. Other than that, was an amazing experience and a must see.
