A truly magical set in such intimate surroundings that I sometimes felt they were playing just for me. I sat in the front row of this small venue and was so close to Rachel, Becky, Niopha and Stef that it almost felt intrusive.
They were absolutely immaculate and performed almost the entirety of “The Bairns” plus an extra couple of traditional songs.
Occasionally without accompaniment or just Stef on the piano the whole set was breathtaking and extremely emotional notwithstanding the nature of some of songs. I remember being in tears or on the verge of tears all evening.
To top off a perfect evening the performers then mingled with us lowly peons in the bar and posed for photos or chatted to myself and other excited fans.
Seriously the best concert I have ever been to and doubt it will ever be bettered.
