The words piss up and brewery spring to mind. The stage lights into the audience for Anna von Hausswolff were so painfully bright, I had to leave the hall. When this continued for the Penguin Cafe Orchestra, I had to leave the building with afterimages. I cannot begin to express my contempt for the way the performance was spoiled, over and above the wasted expense of travel, hotel and ticket .
