This concert was the best I have been. I didn't really know much about them apart from hotel california but came out blown away. The first song of the second half is still in my memories it was sung beautifully total fan now for life.
The sound was bad for the first song but after then it was great.
The show was brilliant we were in the 6th row in the middle , in front if the stage, but the staff people was rude with people who wanted to stand or take photos even before the show, do they know we are in 21 th century.
The last song of the show Desperado with Don standing in the middle of the stage, was truly the best !!!!!
Great night .... Glad the arena was seating and that the staff continued to respect that ..... We had paid to see the Eagles and Not the back of the person in front of you ! We sang along and enjoyed the evening with the bonus of being able to see the concert in comfort!
NORMA JEAN OWEN: To anon before me: where on earth were YOU sitting? I was amongst a group of people of all ages who enjoyed every minute, sang along as appropriate and commented on the excellent sound system. I felt that I was really part of an extended family. If you weren't happy - sorry, but I for one don't want screaming/topless ladies... I went to enjoy the music of the greatest American band!
Had an absolutely brilliant night. Eagle's entertained both musically and verbally. Enjoyed a few of Glenns jokes. As for the crowd yes agree that some around us didnt interact ..think was only a few around us that were singing and "seat dancing". BUT. the LG arena staff kept making those that got up to dance sit down. So really they were the ones who set the "Stiffness" mood. it was a concert not a school assembly.
Fab show - sounded great and like back screens and films with band members in
Brilliant! Brilliant. I've waited 40 years to see this band and thought the whole event was wonderful. I thought the whole evening was very well put together and as per the video The history of the eagles was everything it should have been and so much more. Man oh man can Joe Walsh play his thang.
The music was first class. The first song was difficult to hear through the small amps, but then they fired everything up.
The only real criticism, for me, was the fact that the concert audience was full of 'stiffs' who did not move from their seats, or interact with the band and vice versa…..quite sterile TBH !
The Eagles did their stuff very well, but there were no screaming ladies like in the 70s, no topless-ness……just grey haired people, waiting in anticipation. We won't get to rick too many more times with these guys and perhaps this was a wasted opportunity?
