Great to see Anna live for the first time. The venue (Jammin Java) was perfect for an intimate performance. Anna was very engaging with many stories and general banter between songs. It was very nice to hear her and get a bit more insight into the artist she is and that I have, until now, just listened to on Ipod. She mixed up the old favorites and new songs very well. She is a great songwriter who writes very personal songs that are both emotionally evocative but also very well-crafted.The bottom line though is that she can SING those songs. Her voice is so strong and expressive and beautiful. I am waiting for her to go supernova and become a star on her own terms.
