Snuck in just to see them, for the first time. I was right outside the gates and singing along ALL the words to every song and a girl who was leaving saw me then walked up to me and said "you look like you belong in there" and with a smile handed me her ticket stub. My bf had already managed to get inside so now I had to figure out how to, cos its not like he could trade places with me and I was there only for Arcade Fire. They had stopped allowing ins and outs that year so it was hard af to get in with a already used ticket. I picked a dude at the check in and when it beeped red he looked at me and without thinking I reached in my pocket and just happened to have my asthma inhaler and pulled it out and pointed to the other person a bit aways which was a woman and said she said I could go get this from my car and smiled. He didnt ask her and just smiled and said WELCOME BACK! I ran inside giddy af my shy self had pulled it off and will always remember running up the hill to the top of the bowl and how amazing it was. I put going to see them on my bucket list ever since Funeral, cos I couldn't afford to see them open for thr Pixies at Berkeley Greek Theatre and couldn't get to big sur. It was amazing to say the least. I think I got to see at least half the show or a good portion. Come to find out my a-hole d-bag co-worker got backstage and was bragging about kicking with them. FML 😒🤬

Arcade Fire were opening up for the Unicorns. This was right before Funeral came out. There was probably 30 people there and they handed out Blow Pops before they played. They lined up at the front of the stage and started opened with "Wake Up." I had a smile on my face the whole time and left knowing that they would be huge. I've never seen an audience respond so quickly and so positively to a (at the time) unknown band.
The Palace of Auburn Hills in Auburn Hills, US on Mon, 10 Mar 2014
I really love Arcade Fire, sound was not great, but okay, but it was difficult to see them in such a large venue. Not crazy about the Palace. Hope to see them again in future in a smaller venue.

Sportpaleis in Merksem, Belgium on Tue, 10 Jun 2014
What a fantastic gig! Arcade Fire probably the best live band on earth.
One minus: The acoustic at Sportpaleis really sucks.
