I have been to 4 Dwight Yoakam concerts now. The sound was awful at the Turlock Community Center! I was sitting on C110 which was about 20 feet from stage almost center. It was hard to hear Dwight's voice, couldn't even make out the words on the songs I didn't already know. The best venue I've been to was the one at Gallo Permaning Arts in Modesto in 2014. Nevertheless, Dwight and the band were great. So my rating for the basnd is Great! My rating for the venue is Dissappointing!

Loved the concert. Would like to know who the band member is that played the piano, mandolin, harmonica and accordian is.

We were so looking forward to seeing Dwight and the evening was ruined. The music wad so ungodly loud that you could not even understand what he was singing. Where we were sitting several people were putting in ear plugs and that did not help. We watched several people of all ages leave. When we choose to go to the lobby one of the employees from the Cascade asked us if we would like ear plugs and explained how sorry they were for the volume. She explained that when the sound man was asked to adjust the volume he said he could not as then no one would be able to hear Dwight. We were at the Gordon Lightfoot and Clint Black concerts and sound was not an issue and made for very enjoyable evenings. I am assuming that Dwight did not know what was happening and am sorry for him and the band. I imagine it was uncomfortable for them to watch so many people leaving.

The sound quality was no good. I was unhappy with it and it was a waste of money and time. If he doesn't care about how it sounds he should stop singing. They said he didn't do a sound check and because of that he showed people he doesn't care about them getting what they paid for. A kindergarten play would of sounded better.

I've enjoyed his music for years, but this was the first time I saw him live. I was not disappointed. Despite the sound difficulties, the band sounded great for a live performance. They were a lot of fun to watch. Next time I'll get better seats and order earlier.

It was great! I think they had some sound troubles, unfortunately, but that didn't stop Dwight from another electric performance. Thanks for bringing him to Canton! Hope he will be back.

Dwight was a really great performer I thought. This was my first time seeing him and I really thought he was a lot of fun. I wish I would've known that VIP meet and greet was available thought because I would've purchased those or those tickets that granted you access to the VIP meet and greet. I was upset that I didn't see anything advertised for it anywhere.

When going to see a Dwight Yoakam concert you can always depend he will put on a class act show and yesterday@ The Indian Ranch in Webster, MA was great! We enjoyed the mix of great new music and his classic old songs and as we say in New England it was wicked good time :) Can't wait until the next time he comes around~ will certainly be there. Got the chance for a vip meet & greet and truly appreciate that he is gracious in taking the time to meet his fans.

Dwight yoakam is one of the best entertainers of our generation. I was at the meet and greet on June 20th and the negative comment from anonymous is so wrong. I was sent an email with the guideline for the meet and greet so I knew exactly what to expect. Dwight was a gentleman, and I felt honored to meet him. I will travel within a two hundred mile radius to see him every time he is near my town. So anonymous we don't need you at our DY shows messin up our mojo. Love you DY

I had more fun meeting ppl that were in line.I know this young gal who has C.P. her dad was so pissed they left before the concert. It was d a experience that I'll never do again. Just remember Dwight bad news travels faster then good news. WTF happen to you? And your not funny either. Your bass player rocked. I enjoyed him more than you. Seriously Dwight I want. My money back on the meet and greet. Or and the concert was less than an hour. COME ON REALLY!!!!!

I was highly disappointed. I paid $110.00 for the meet and greet. He was late. He was rude. No one told me how to get my picture either. I live on a fixed in income. That $110.00 could have been better spent otherwise. I asked to give a kiss on the cheek and OMG you think I had goodies or something. Ive been to 3 other concerts that were better. I want my money back. He wouldn't even sign that stupid poster. DWIGHT you lost a loyal fan. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Dwight's performance was fantastic, but the music was so loud that you could not hear the vocals. One of the main reasons to see this concert was to be able to hear that amazing voice. I have attended other concerts at this venue and was able to hear the vocals very well. He does put on a non-stop show.

The concert was good but far from perfection. Country music is about words, stories, and the vocals. When the guitars are turned up like it's a rock concert and drowning out the vocals much of the time then for me it's a buzz kill. NO fault of Dwight. He's a living legend and I'll always enjoy his music. But I'd rather spin his greatest hits CD to really enjoy his voice the way I'll always remember it. Thanks for letting me share!

We drove to Austin from Lake Patzcuaro , Michoacan, Mexico (18 hrs) for this concert, a bucket list item for my novio, Fernando. Dwight was awesome and he plays with some very talented musicians. In addition to the performance, we got the opportunity to meet him and have a photo taken. Cannot wait to buy the new album after hearing some of the new songs.

He did a really great job and the crowd loved him. His personality shone though, loved the way his jacket kind of matched the band's jackets. He didn't complain about hot lights above and barely stopped to breathe between songs. The switch over on instruments was pulled off extremely well. The only one thing was his own voice was somewhat drowned out by the instruments. The only thing I would suggest for him is a better sound check somehow as we the people couldn't hear him, the main one we went to see, so well.

Great concert. Dwight is a fun performer and his voice hasn't changed. I grew up listening to him. Love the old school music. He did seem annoyed with the sound system.

had vip tickets. It was worth the experience. Had a picture taken with Dwight, with our arms around each others waist. He was very gracious and thanked us for coming to the show. The seats were the best, and I have a nice poster to hang up. I love Dwight

Fantastic - Dwight was in great voice and his band is wonderful. I saw him on the "This Time" tour and time has done nothing but make him better. He was playful with the crowd and made sure we knew that he knew how close he was to the old home place. Best night out since I don't know when and I sure hope he comes back soon and plays for much longer. WV loves ya' Dwight!

This was one of the best concerts I have attended. Dwight sounds just as great live as he does on a recording. He went into one song after the next. I would have liked to heard some other songs and a longer show, but I am biased and wanted to see him for the whole show. HA HA. The VIP package was a bit of a let down, but it didn't seem like that was in Mr. Yoakam's control. I really have waited since I was 14 to meet him and I am 41 now. All in all, it was a wonderful opportunity. Hopefully, I'll get another chance to see him. My dream concert was to see him at the Ryman.

It was hammer down start to finish. He engaged the crowd and even the ones that weren't Dwight fans per se responded well to him. I've been a fan over 20 years, and I hope we get him back to West Virginia again, because it was an awesome experience!

For me Dwight was 10 out of 10 and his voice has never sounded better. Awesome. There were a few sound issues but it didn't detract from the concert. Ben Shockley.

Dwight continues to amaze me with his vocal abilities and his band is a tight, well oiled machine! Set list was killer, it seemed Dwight was troubled by some sound issues, as there was some feedback on occasion but overall it was an awesome show!

The rating is for Dwight, the venue gets 1 star! The fact the he could still perform so well in such a poorly managed setting is amazing. We will NEVER attend another show there.
