Lloyd Simcoe was there 80%
"This song is 20 years' old" told Morrissey before starting "Hand in Glove". What a pleasure to hear this song, as well as seing the man coming on stage with a hat. This venue was particular, usually used for political meetings, but sounded great for this short (17 tracks) but amazing gig. This was my fourth date of what we were pleased to call the "Viva Hate" tour, which wasn't the case of course, but regarding to the songs chosen by the artist. This could have been the "Quarry Pre-Tour" as well, which four songs of Morrissey's forthcoming acclaimed album two years later.
The starting "I want the one I can't have" will remain one of the best intro, and be re-introduced during the 2011 tour.
