First saw JD 2yrs ago in a rocking' little club-the Mercy Lounge in Nashville & he rocked our socks off so i was excited to see him play my hometown. The gig was great & drummer Jason Smay was the one who shone for me, what a guy! I think the venue let the show down slightly, sound wise & soul wise. The new tunes sound amazing live & can't wait for the new album. Overall if JD was a boxer he would take a fight all the way to a points decision, maybe win. But tonight he lacked that killer punch. 7/10
