We give Imelda and Big Boy Bloater 100% the venue let the show down seated venues do not suit this style of artist. We love Imelda and have seen her and the lads on many an occasion. Their performance and Big Boy Bloater's were fantastic, engaging with the crowd and putting their everything into their performances, but I would however NEVER go to see her again at that venue, I think being a seated venue and the crowd being a LOT older than that of say the Albert Hall in manchester the weekend before the atmosphere was terrible even Imelda mentioned how quiet the crowd were. The Philly is good if you're going to listen to an orchestra or a piano recital etc but not a rock-a-billy singer.
