Bon Jovi concert at Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico

My high school English teacher in Ponce PR, Mrs. Lopez, used the song Livin on a Prayer as a way to motivate us to learn English.

At the time i was 21 . Now 58 and still remember the concert. I was there with the Royal Dutch Navy and concert was mentioned to us. So we went with a full bus to the stadium (along with plenty of beer). Had the most wonderfull time of my young life then. Since then at my home town Bon Jovi visit at the PINKPOP area in Landgraaf.
Now i went with my wife to share the feeling. We both enjoyed the concert with sometimes pooring rain. Due to the weatherr Bon Jovi extended their concert with 30 minutes. Balleds .... etc. Awesome... Never forget , never give up , never stop enyoying life. Greetings form the past.

This was my first concert, I was only 13 years old and I still remember the energy of the band, this was epic, I remember John with the flag of Puerto Rico on stage. The concerts in Puerto Rico in the eighties were spectacular. Bon Jovi with his best tour, his best album. I still have the Tshirt I bought at the concert.
