Aaah, the old Hammersmith Odeon. Debbie Harry performed a little skit just at the beginning of the show, as a sexy waitress who receives some unwanted attention. I was sixteen and a half and the testosterone in the air that night when she came on was palpable. A great band and a fantastic night. Sadly I have no recollection of the support but would love to hear a recording of this, the first proper gig I ever went to!
