Being Albert's fan for 35 years now, it was great to see this living legend live. I was behind in the venue, but it did not matter; I could see clear and well enough. And Albert has made his way during the concert also to the rows behind and I had the occasion for a first handshake. ++++ Albert has played his best songs and many of those songs he had written for others. When he performed "I dont wanna lose you", he almost sounded like Tina Turner. But which song was it that he wrote for others and which did not suit him? Guess it was "One moment in time", his song for Whitney Houston. He should better have missed on that. But everything else was great. Albert Hammond does not need technological assistance for his voice; live on stage he sounds some 95% like on his records. +++ After the concerts he takes time for autographs and photos - a star without those negative attitudes that many others have: "Buy my records but f..ing leave me alone!" Not Albert. We had a short time for some chitchat and so did I have with his wife. Yes, and his cute dogs which we know from Facebook, they were with them and they did not mind to be petted. ++++ Great concert and experience and I look forward to see him sometime again.
