Brilliant energy from El-P and Killer Mike. Unfortunately the sound system in this venue is absolutely terrible. Half of what makes this band so good is the intricate production of the music. Sadly all you could hear was the actual beat of each tune. I was at the very front but apparently it was equally inaudible at the back. This was clearly a problem for the guys on stage as well but the made the best of it and put on a great show regardless. Get these boys in Vicar St for RTJ3!
